Safeguarding
Training for Safe Ministry
Our training approach helps trustees, pastors, staff, and volunteers understand their safeguarding responsibilities and serve the church community with care, wisdom, and accountability.
Overview
What Training Supports
Safeguarding training is part of how Christ Liquid Fire Ministry seeks to build a respectful, caring, and well-informed church culture. Training should be appropriate to each role and refreshed regularly to support safe practice.
Awareness
Foundational training helps leaders and volunteers recognise concerns, understand warning signs, and respond calmly and appropriately.
Reporting
Training should explain how to record concerns, who to contact, and when urgent situations must be referred to emergency services or relevant authorities.
Safer Practice
Ongoing learning supports healthy boundaries, respectful conduct, safer working practices, and clear accountability across church activities.
Role Readiness
Trustees, pastors, staff, and volunteers should receive training that matches their responsibilities and the nature of their ministry involvement.
Focus Areas
